History

After completing his education in computer-aided design, Justin Hardy went to work as a machinist for Ranger Enterprises where he gained experience in all things fabrication. After Ranger Enterprises was bought by Merrill in 2012, Justin stayed onboard and was promoted to manufacturing manager.

During his time at Merrill as a manufacturing manager, he decided to start his own business on the side to satisfy his entrepreneurial spirit. This business, Shade Shifters Outdoor Services, eventually became so successful that Justin left Merrill to tend to his own company full-time.

After gathering years of business experience and finding success with his outdoor services operation, Justin decided to pursue his dream of operating his own fabrication shop and founded Shape Shifters. Now, Justin and his wife/business partner Michelle are working to dissolve Shade Shifters to focus their attention entirely on Shape Shifters. Though their company is young, it is expanding rapidly – Shape Shifters consistently secures contracts with the federal government and major players in the aerospace and defense industries.
